Wanted: Campaign Staff and Volunteers

Multiple candidates for public office are seeking campaign staff and volunteers.

 

Campaigns are for City and Town Council, General Assembly and others.

 

Seeking qualified applicants for the following positions:

 

Campaign Managers. Duties and responsibilities include:

-          With the candidate and others, develop and implement a winning voter contact and voter turnout strategy.

-          Create campaign budget and fundraising plan

-          Recruit, manage and develop volunteers

-          Execute communications strategy that includes earned and paid media.

Field Directors. Duties and Responsibilities include:

-          Recruit and develop door-to-door and phone outreach volunteers for electoral candidates; manage volunteers in the field

-          Create and execute a comprehensive, data-driven field.

-          Design and standardize best practices for data management.

-          Set, meet, and exceed benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and

grassroots engagement.

 

Other postions—full time, part time, volunteer—also available.

 

Qualifications. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and have demonstrated ability to recruit and motivate volunteers, develop leadership, and delegate.  Must be willing and able to work flexible and irregular hours including nights and weekends. Electoral campaign experience—including volunteer experience—strongly preferred.

 

Salary for paid positions varies widely depending on the campaign, position and applicant experience. Anywhere from $8-$22 an hour.
